I hold a BA from Agnes Scott College, an MA/PhD in Modern European History from Indiana University and a magister from the Freie Universität Berlin. As a Fulbright and DAAD scholar, I also studied in Marburg, Weimar, Dresden, Stockholm, Krakow, Kiev and Riga. My dissertation explores the intersections of history, memory, space and place through the lens of Weimar.
